Suburban Rail Loop Authority Gets New CEO
Frankie Carroll takes on the role
The Suburban Rail Loop Authority has announced the appointment of Frankie Carroll as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Minister for Suburban Rail Loop Jacinta Allan said Carroll's experience in major infrastructure projects will be invaluable in leading the delivery of the Suburban Rail Loop.
Once completed, the 90-kilometer rail loop will connect every major rail line in Melbourne, improving transport options and accessibility for residents.
Carroll has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, and has held senior roles at companies such as Lendlease and CPB Contractors.
He is also a former chairman of Infrastructure Victoria, and was involved in the development of the state's long-term infrastructure strategy.
Carroll said he is excited to take on the role and is looking forward to leading the delivery of this transformative project.
"The Suburban Rail Loop is a once-in-a-generation project that will revolutionize public transport in Melbourne," Carroll said.
"I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the team that will deliver this critical infrastructure for the people of Victoria."
